What is the best weight lifting program / start out for Beginners?

Im 15 and want to start weight lifting this summer. Now im kinda skinny and I want to know what should I eat? How much should I lift? How much time should I spend lifting? How many times a week? And anything else that could help me out. Thanks :)

This post on a website is a great start for information.

As for exactly what kind of workouts to do, you can look around the site. When I first started lifting, I actually didn't start with lifting. I started with push-ups, crunches, and chin-ups (used bars at the schools) and bicep curls with some weights. Once I felt stronger, I started looking towards actual lifting.

2. Eat a balanced diet with lots of protein. Begin lifting with a comfortable weight not too much not to little and work your way up from there. Start off 1-2 times a week and then work up to 3-4 days about an hour each day. Remember you want to give your muscles time to rest and recover. You may also want to include a natural supplement in your diet like GlycoCarn.
