How long until I can see weight lifting results?

If I start lifting weights tomorrow (curls and lifting dumbbells above my head) and doing push ups, how long until I will be able to see results of bigger/more defined muscles.
I am not planning to do cardio btw. I'm of slightly above average weight, not fat.
