Workouts and weight lifting to help me do better pushups?

Im playing freshman football for my school and I am 6'1 250 lbs... i am pretty strong and the coach loves my size and is targeting me to be an O or D Lineman but the one thing I cant do is push-ups,i can do other things great but push ups NOOOOOO. can anyone tell me what kind of workouts to do that will increase my ability for doing push ups

1. More pushups seemed to do it for me when I was playing ball. Practice makes perfect.
