Weight lifting equipment: Where can I find bench press stands?
I have a bench and a bar. Where can I get the vertical stands that hold the bar? I spoke to supervisor at Sports Authority. He was perplexed by the question. Had no answer.

1. usually the bench and bar holder things are all connected like one big unit, which is why hes probably confusedBut I know what you mean, I cant imagine that a sporting goods store wouldn't sell them...
But usually when the bench isn't connected, the weight rack for the bar is one big piece of equipment with a huge base, ( it needs a big base to properly support all the weight since it doesnt have a bench connected to it to help support and distribute the weight) U may just be better off getting one with the bench connected to it, could be cheaper, and definitely would save space
