Is it ok to go for a 15 min run prior to weight-lifting workout?
I am trying to mix some cardio into my weigh-lifting workouts. My primary goal is to gain muscle, but I want to stay healthy as well.

1. It is very good to run before you lift weights because it gets your muscles loose.
2. Yes - it'll warm you up, I wouldn't do more than this for your warm up because you'll start to break down muscle. If you're trying to lose weight try interval training instead of steady state cardio like running. Hope that helps - good luck with your training program xx
