1. Too much of anything is bad. But exercise of any kind for those who are out of shape/overweight will be good for you. Lifting weights will help you gain tone on your body and increase your metabolism. Aerobic exercise is the best way to get thin, but you need to be balanced in your physical fitness. You need a good balance of strength, cardiovascular, and flexibility in your physical fitness.

2. i am in the same position as you but i weight around 85 kg and so i want to get to 75kg and so then i can start weights, they tell me my weight is great for weight lifting coz i can turn my fat into muscle but this means i will look big and i want to look big but weigh less and also if you are around 19 or 20 then i recommend you should do weights coz at that age growth starts to slow down and so you can do weights without worrying about your height.

so overall i think you should do weights when you are average BMI and then do it as it will look better.

3. i'm pretty sureyou need to lose some of that weight before you lift.
this prevents looking like you're flabby and such.

once you lose the desired amount of weight, you can start lifting.
you can lose some weight by running, power-walking, and doing sit-ups.

but make sure you do one thing before the other.
separate your workouts.

you'll look muscular as desired in no time (:

4. No, just weight lifting won't make you slim and lose weight. If you do a variety of exercises then you should be slim and healthy. Over doing weight lifting isn't good! Jogging is a good thing, and so is an elliptical machine. Lifting weights isn't bad, but don't make that the only thing that you do! Also just exercising won't do it either. You have to commit to eating healthier. Good luck!

5. if you lift correctly you will. lift high reps of relitively low weight
