weight lifting workouts?
i'm a 16 year old boy, about 5'4, and about 120-125 pounds. i'm pretty skinny so i want to start weight training. i'm on the wrestling team so i've done lifting before but never on my own so i don't really know where to begin, how often to do it and especially what exercises to do in my workouts? can anyone send me some workout routines or some place i can find one, that would help a lot. thanks.

1. iight well your a good age and weight to start and get big.. all you need to know is workout about 4 times a week or 3 for a start up.. and um whenever you do a workout.. do 3reps of 8sets for a start up.. Do you have an iphone or itouch??? you can download this app called "Fit Builder" It costs money but if your iphone/itouch is jailbroken then its free!! lol ima give you some websites too check those out!!
2. ur just 16 and your height is going to increase in the next couple of years and you need to be careful with ur weight lifting it will affect ur growth...
eat as much as vegetables and fruits as u can and don't each too much fast food i mean once in a week is good....
start with light weights don't put too much pressure on ur muscles..the maximum weight lifted doesn't matter number of reps do and so take a 2 or 4 kg dumbbell and do some biseps and shoulders.....for wrestling u need to be strong on ur feet so do some situps.. ill give you my ruitine im 17 and 5'6 and 65 kgs
first u need to work up..then do 20 pushups, 40 situps, hand stand and as many pushups possible by standing on ur hands....20 reps for biseps and 20 for shoulders then repeat these excercises .....do it every second day
