Can Weight lifting only and doing ab workouts lose weight?

I dislocated my knee so i can only do upper body. Only lifting weights. I was doing good running before but obviously cant do that now. And i do 20 min on the bike at the gym....I also take in way less calories now

1. IF ALL YOU DO IS LIFT WEIGHTS YOU MIGHT GAIN WEIGHT BECAUSE YOUR TURNING YOUR FAT INTO MUSCLES.

3. Ab workouts and weight lifting actually help you burn more calories than regular cardio, assuming you're doing them at high levels of intensity. However, you're muscle mass will be increasing, so don't expect to lose weight. But gaining muscle weight isn't a bad thing, just don't pig out and you'll be fine.
