1. Good question. I have been there, and have taken creatine (Cellmass), energy product w/creatine & arginine (NO-Xplode), NO2 (Nitrix), Liquid Aminos, various Animal products, whey protein, etc. about all the big stuff. The ONLY thing I recommend is whey protein, as protein is the ONLY thing that actually builds muscle. The rest of the stuff works while your on it, but the second you stop taking them, you lose what they gave you.
Matter of fact, I wouldn't even say whey is necessary. Just make sure your consuming 1-1.5 lbs of your body weight in protein. Whey is nice though right after a workout as it gets absorbed quickly and is easy to take to the gym. Oh, as far as supplements in general go, I do recommend a strong multi-vitamin, as you'll need one when working out a lot, and hardly any one gets enough vitamins/minerals in diet alone. That's the most imporant and only supplement I'd say is necessary.
2. The two necessary components to lifting are creatine and protein. Now, depending on how much you want to spend, you can get the best products on the market, such as NanoVapor, or you can go with the regular creatine that you find at your local GNC. Now, I would suggest going with the more expensive creatine, because you will get better results from it. What you put in is what you get out essentially. If you go with the cheaper creatine, you will still get results, just not as good of results. For protein, I would suggest any 100 percent whey protein that you can find. If you use creatine and protein together ( taking creatine before your workout, and protein after) you will definately see results. Also, if money is an issue , you can normally find products online for a better price. I normally do my shopping at http://www.monsterbodybuilder.com , These two products are really the first step in the right direction. They are the only two necessary supplements that you should be taking. Depending on how much weightlifting you are doing, and how much money you want to spend, you can start taking other supplements such as nitric oxide, or glutamine. (By the way, nitric oxide is already in the Nanovapor)
Hope this helps!
