Weight Lifting Supplements...?

I am a 25 year old fairly healthy male. I lift weights on a regular basis and was wondering what supplement would be best for me to use. I am not a power lifter or anything crazy like that, I am just trying to build my strength and tone up. Are there any good, safe supplements out there that would help a moderate weight lifter?

Thanks!

1. Spaghetti, no sauce.

2. There are several. Whey protein, creatine, multivitamin, and fish oil are essential staples for weight lifters. Get a subscription to Muscle and Fitness or some other magazine. They will tell you about different supps every month.

3. The safest supplement you can get would be a straight whey protein supplement that's got some calories and some carbs in it. The Protein will help heal the tears in your muscles after a work-out, so while it wont make you lift more weight or instantly bulk up, it will help your muscles develop and allow to to work a little bit harder to tone up and work naturally to gain strength.

If you want something a bit more effective, try something like Muscle Milk. Its basically a protein drink with extra amino acids and different types of proteins that can actually help build muscles, but not to an unsafe extent.

There is stuff like Creatine and NO2 that can make you lift harder and be stronger while youre on them, but i doubt theyre safe or natural and i wouldnt advise using them. Stick with straight protein. You may not feel the difference as you would taking an NO2 pill, but it will help the natural recovery of your body on the inside. Straight protein or simple Muscle Milk mixes would be the best for just regular lifting.

4. protein is the best, then creatine
