Essential supplements for weight lifting?

Looking to get back into weight lifting, and have bought some 100% Gold Standard Whey and Opti-men multivitamins. I'm also considering Creatine, would these supplements be enough?

I've heard that Glutamine is fairly pointless from a variety of people, and wasn't sure if there were any other supplements I would need?

1. None are essential. Protein powder is good if you can't eat enough protein from regular food (1.4grams per kg of bodyweight), creatine helps, but again is not needed. You should already have a balanced diet making the multivitamins redundant.
