Simple, home exercises to build arm muscles other than weight-lifting?
There isn't a gym near my house so the exercise must be do-able at home without needing much equipment.

1. Buy some heavy soup cans/other weighted cans and do bicep curls.
2. you need weights to build muscle. your not going to build bigger arms by lifting heavy cans. you have to challenge your muscles.
3. I would recommend to get something to do chin-ups and pull-ups on, like Iron gym from target, i think it only cost 20$. Then do chin-ups and pull-ups on that. Then get 2 chairs and do Tricep Dips on that. Chin-ups for biceps and Dips for Triceps covers your whole arm and should help you go grow your arms.
4. Push-ups, exercise bands, chin-up bar, if you can combine all three with protein you will see results within a week. Remember "hard work pays off"
5. I have become quite muscular and ripped without using anyweights
- Depending how fit you are do 50 press ups a day until you can do 50 without stopping (or do 50 every other day if your not fit
When i started i did- Monday - wake up 50 non-stop press ups, 50 sit ups, 4k jog
Tuesday- wake up 50 non-stop press up, 50 sit ups, 4k jog
Wednesday- Skipping
Thursday- 100 press ups (3 sets of 20, 4 sets of 10) ,use a different hand
and arm position for every set. ie, diamond, wide, close, spiderman
ect
Friday- Hard jog, 100 sit ups holding a litre bottle of water behind my head
Saturday- 50 press ups, 50 sit ups
Sunday- Rest
Im more advanced than that now, or google and youtube search 'slosh pipe'. It a very inexpensive peice of home made kit which is the best possible thing to lift and build strength. It basically a 10 ft pipe filled partially with water. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gj0KOjs1BDQ
Its really hard to use because the water 'sloshes' about inside and makes it very unstable
