Which weight lifting routines should I combine to get the best overall exercise in a week? I got to the gym every Mon. Wed. & Sat. The six major muscle groups that I exercise with weights are: Shoulder, Biceps, Back, Legs, Triceps, & Chest. My goal is to combine two of these muscle groups every day that I go to get a complete body work out every week. Does any body have have any advice on what groups should be combined together? or are there certain muscle groups that should be exercised by themselves on any given day?
What are some good weight lifting and workout routines? I just recently bought a weight set. It has the ability to do bench and inclined bench press, butterflyes, a leg lifter thing, dumbells where I can add as much weight as I want, and a thing where you can put your arms to use a curling bar (I also bought a curling bar). I also bought an excercise ball to help me do sit-ups and push-ups. Anyone know any or know of a website that can help me get started on a weight lifting and workout routine? Greatly appreciated.

What weight lifting routines help build leg muscles for long runs? I'm training for the Navy boot camp and have gotten high on my push ups and sit ups. Running and doing 1.5 mile run is a bit more challenging. What are some exercises and weight lifting routines to build up leg muscles and endurance? When I jog my endurance lasts for 4 - 5 minutes at fast walks but when I jog faster my knees start to slowly hurt which I know is just the friction in the joints. After a few weeks it decreased but still is a little bit of an annoyance. At first I got shin splits but that phase is over and my shins are good. Provide any ideas how to build up endurance.

Weight lifting routines (lean and muscular as opposed to big and bulky)? I am depressed and i need something to do so i want to start lifting weights again. Not to sound gay but I kind of want a routine that will get me the "Taylor Lautner look." I mean i'm not really lifting for any sports any more and I might as well work towards something. I'm skinny and lean, and in the past have had a decently muscular and toned body. I'm looking for that again but I want an actual system instead of my routine which worked, but was kind of unorganized. So give me some routines and stuff. Leave out anything about running (I am a runner, and know enough about it) and just tell me some routines and maybe some supplements (proteins about the only thing i'll use, none of this creatine crap or anything haha) or good food to eat. Please only answer if you know what you're talking about :)

Weight Lifting: I need some good websites addressing periodization? I am specifically looking for websites with periodization weight lifting routines where I could see exercises that I would need to do, set amount, and rep amount. I've been looking around the net but I really havn't found any decent routines that cater to periodization (where you lift light for a certain amount of time, then you lift heavy). Not really looking for generic weight lifting sites. Periodization links please.
What is a good beginner weight lifting routine? I have a weigh lifting bench with no weights yet. I am going to buy the bar today plus some weights. How much should I start with? I was thinking 5 lb set, 10 lb set and 15 lb set. What would be a good routine for me? What's a good weight lifting routine (best answer chosen)? I'm going to get a membership to the YMCA and I want to know the best routine that would work for me. I'm 16, 5'9, and pretty skinny (120lbs) so I don't have to worry about losing fat, I just want to gain muscle. I was thinking of weight lifting every other day and running a few miles the days I don't weight lift but i don't know which exercises to do.
Need professional weight lifting routines? Hey. This whole summer all i did was cardiovascular activity. I ran, ran and ran more. I lost 15lbs and now i weigh 142. I used to weight lift for a year, about 3 times a week, and i usually benched 115-135 lbs. I broke my finger so i couldnt bench so i can start doing it now again. I am planning to wrestle this year for the first time (junior year) and i wanna become much stronger. I benched all year last year and i didnt really become stronger. I want a good routine that WORKS, not only on you but on many others. I wanna be able to bench over 225lbs by February (i can max out 150 now). I want a routine that will make my arms very nice looking, biceps, triceps, shoulders, i want a chest workout that will make me have nice pecks, and even some leg and ab workouts. I understand this is a lot to ask but if anyone knows a great routine and a schedule with it i would appreciate it greatly, and give best answer. thanks
Are there any good workout routines that build muscle w/o weight lifting? I am 14 and am a pretty scrawny kid but I want to build muscle w/o using heavy weights. I hate lifting so much, it's just too dull to keep myself motivated. Any fun workout routines (aerobic, etc.) that help build muscle quickly without the use of heavy weights? Thanks in advance. I was kind of joking when I said scrawny. I'm just skinny.
Weight Lifting Routines.? I need a good weight lifting split, so if you have one that has worked for you or if you know of any good ones. My level of experience is intermediate. thanx
What is the best weight lifting Routine/schedule for all your muscles? I'm no stranger to weight lifting or being cut and working out. However I'm not noticing results anymore. I try to change up my routine but my body stays the same. I wanna gain more muscle and get cut up even more. What do u guys recommend as a weight lifting routine/schedule? feel free to post sum step by step links to training muscles on separate days. Info on certain protein shakes and supplements are welcomed as well. Thanks you guys! :)

Does this Weight lifting routine seem right to you? I'm getting back into weight lifting and I want to be stronger I'm doing 3 sets of 5 reps twice a week. I'm doing 11 exercises and it takes forever because of the longer rests is this the right thing to do? Cause I read that you should only really do an hour or you go backwards. Is this completely unhealthy and I'll just wreck my body.
What would be a good weight lifting routine at home? I am 16, male and i want to build and tone muscle in my arms shoulders and chest. I do not have access to a gym or weight room (for personal reasons) but i can go and buy some weights (preferably dumbells) at the store. Im not trying to get like body builder biceps, i would mainly like to get broader shoulders, bigger chest and more defined and bigger arms. What work outs can i do at home?

weight lifting routines? I am a freshman and need to start lifting weights more and work on my upper body. What routines do you think would help me do this.
A question about weight lifting routines? This is just an EXAMPLE. Is it okay to have a weight lifting routine that looks like this: Monday - Arms Tuesday - Legs Wednesday - Chest & Stomach Thursday - Back Friday - Starting back at Arms OR would it be better to have a full days rest between sessions despite what muscle group you are working OR would it be better to do a full body work out and leave a couple of days rest and do another full body work out. Your thoughts please. Even show me your routines. Don't get really specific. Just what excercises you do on what day and for how many sets/reps. Many Thanks. Basically what I wan't to achieve from working out is to lose a bit more body fat and gain enough muscle so that it's evident that I actually work out. I don't want to be massive. I try to run about 2 miles every other day and at the moment I'm lifting weights about every 3 days.
Weight lifting routines or advice? Hello everyone! I'm 5'3, 23 years old, and currently i weigh 153 pounds... I want to lose weight and i know that in order to do so i need a balance of cardio and weight training. I don't want to bulk up. I just want to get some strength and lose my fat. So my friend said that if you lift heavy weights and do it in small amounts you will get bigger but if you lift light weights and do it more times you will get strength. Is that true? if thats true should i lift the lighter weights in sets or just do as many as i can? Can you guys also give me some diet and weight training routine advice for someone around my height, age, and weight? I know this sounds like a lot of things I'm asking for but really..i don't get that calorie stuff..so a site would be useful but personal experiences tips would even be better. much obliged for your time. ^_^
Customized weight lifting routines? I'm a 12 year-old girl and I usually swim all year-round, but this year I'm not doing it because I'm running instead. I'm sort of known for my biceps and my time on the flex arm-hang at my school, and I really don't want to lose my muscles. I'm wondering if there's a thing where you put your weight and age and height and everything, and then they customize a weight lifting routine for you, because I have no idea whatsoever of how much I should be lifting weights, because I really do not want to lose my muscles. So a website or anything would be really helpful! Thank you!
What weight lifting routines for a skinny guy? I never get a straight answer, but I hope I can this time being that a professional should find this to be easy. I have a pilates set from a few years ago, I'm willing to spend some money getting a door lift up bar, dumbbells, that wheel thingy, and maybe more. I'm looking for a straight forward workout routine "do this for this many times using this, then this, and this" while taking into consideration I'm not looking to tone or loose any weight and I'm not going to a gym. If anyone can answer this for me, thanks a ton in advance!
